Conduct and Behaviour Policy for all Lexis Students
a. Our Expected standards of Behaviour and Conduct are published in full in our Student Handbook.
b. You are expected to behave in a polite, civilised manner at all times when on school premises, on class/ school visits or any accommodation we have arranged for you during your stay.
c. We reserve the right to terminate your course, without notice, if your behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory. This includes any serious or persistent misconduct on school premises, class visits or any accommodation we have arranged for you during your stay.
d. We consider unsatisfactory behaviour and serious misconduct to include smoking, consuming alcohol or any illegal drugs on school premises/ accommodation, damaging school or student property, theft, behaving in an abusive or disrespectful way to staff or students, not observing health and safety or fire policy or behaving in a way to disturb or cause a nuisance to the day to day running of the school. e. We reserve the right to terminate your course, without notice, if you persistently fail to attend classes (10 or more consecutive days) or you fail to meet the attendance requirements of the course.
f. If we have to terminate the course of any visa requiring students for disciplinary reasons, we will inform the relevant authorities immediately.
g. We will not pay any refunds whatsoever if we have to terminate your course for disciplinary reasons.
h. You will have to pay any outstanding fees immediately.
Liabilities and damages
a. We cannot accept liability in any case of illness, accident, loss or damage to personal effects or property (including the safekeeping of your luggage, post addressed to you at the school address, any other documents, exam results/ certificates or any travel documents, such as your passport or ID card) on school premises, in accommodation organised by us or on class/ school visits.
b. You (or your parents/ guardians, if you are under 18 years old) are liable for and will have to pay for any damages caused on school premises, accommodation organised by us or on class/ school visits.
